The watchmaking industry is a very large one, and a huge part of our culture now. We now have so many brands competing for attention with high-end devices that are hard to find in the UK and other places around the world. It's been such a long time since I used these tools, and they haven't changed much. In fact, they haven't even improved! Let me explain...

I found myself trying to use Amazon to buy some secondhand items. I wasn't too happy when they wouldn't accept my currency or I was frustrated when it took ages to get anything in return. So I decided to spend a bit more money on good quality clothing and shoes to make sure I had everything. That didn't happen, but this is what happens when you shop online. You can try and do all the things and you think it's great but you still can't find anything because of the way everyone else has it. But if you spend £100, sometimes you end up with something like that... the perfect watch that was to be yours!

This isn't the kind of thing you want to be doing as a regular person with a job who works from home. Most of us are busy enough, we don't need to have an endless supply of spare change. Now I'm not saying people should just keep on buying new clothes and toys, they should, but there's no room and you need to focus on shopping and products that will last a while. And I find myself making lots of mistakes and wasting money whilst I buy things that might not fit. All I care about now is getting things out of the house and into my hand and don't look back on what I'm doing while they're still new.

The trouble with thinking you've found the right product is you don't always know if it's right so you just have to continue hoping and praying. If you do all your research, then when you're at the checkout window only to find nothing but disappointment you think 'why didn't they buy something else?'. Then you're left with a little choice, which is just to pick something else - or start over.

After that you buy the wrong product but if it's right you can still go back and buy it all again. As well as being annoying you feel bad about yourself if you think you made a mistake! You want to buy something new and better and you buy a brand new designer watch! There are plenty of wonderful pieces being sold on sites like eBay for the price of a few pounds. But they are amazing. They should not be! You shouldn't have a problem putting them down and looking for something that will last longer than a month! Or they are slightly off and you like the watch but don't want to keep it. Your mind won't stay focused long enough to see the value, and it will just stop you.

It's very easy to get sucked into the whole process and forget to check what it's worth like that. When you buy an item online you don't have to realize it until later. A lot of times I would give 10 to 20 percent more on the item and still buy it because I thought it was a bargain, and when I got home I realized it was quite expensive. Not only am I not being honest with myself in the long term, but I also spend loads of money on things that I don't need.

So I have to say that I'm not buying anything, I have no need anymore! This is so much easier with an e-trailer and less hassle.
